Cristiano Ronaldo spoke what he said to PSG coach Laurent Blanc?
Speculation over the forward's future at Real Madrid was raised after he was caught talking to the Paris Saint-Germain boss with his hand over his mouth after November's clash
Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he thanked Laurent Blanc during his post-match touchline chat with the Paris Saint-Germain boss last month.
Reports in France had claimed that Ronaldo had told Blanc that he would “love” to play for PSG following Madrid’s 1-0 win over the French champions at the Santiago Bernabeu on November 3.
But Ronaldo insists he was only thanking the World Cup winner for praising him before the match.
“I have talked to many people. When people treat me well, I treat [them] well. A muddle that does not exist was put together,' said Ronaldo
“What happened with Blanc was that he had spoken very well about me before and I only thanked him for this declarations and I told him that I had liked them a lot.
“And with the Paris president, I have known him for many years. He seems very nice and he has always treated me well. That's what happened.”
Ronaldo also downplayed reports of a rift with Madrid president Florentino Perez over the incident.
“I don’t remember what was said to Florentino, but his comment was a joke,” said the Portugal international, who set a new Champions League record of the most goals scored in the group stage
after netting four times against Malmo on Tuesday. source /goal.com/
“If there was a problem he’d call me into his office and talk to me. Nothing happened.
