Since starting off in Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy, the two players have a friendship starting from their early days. The two have been best friends since their early Barcelona days. Rumors stated that it was Pique who persuaded Cesc Fabregas to join Fc Barcelona in 2009. Fabregas then joined Gunners and went back to his Catalonian club.
