Marcelo and Ronaldo are the best of friends on and off the pitch. Starting their friendship in 2009 when the Portuguese captain made his way into Real Madrid for a record transfer fee, Cristiano Ronaldo found a friend in the Portuguese speaking Marcelo, making it easier to communicate to each other and share a bond that seems to be hard to break.
